It has come to my attention that there are both scientists who working on time machines and scientists who are working on teleporters.

Please stop.

We don't need teleporters, because all they can do is transfer matter from one place to another instantly.

That is great, but what if we are late for something?

Time machines transfer us to where we need to be, at the time we needed to be there.

So scientists, stop reading this, shake hands and join forces.  I won't give you a deadline, because whenever you create it, you can just come back in time and show me right after I publish this.
